Time for a change
Hey all!
I’m changing my tumblr theme in the next couple of days/weeks/months due to my not working at the surfcamps anymore. So this’ll get more personal. A little Capoeira probably, plus some shots from my job and Düsseldorf and my acting and overall free time and so on. Hope you still enjoy it.

Little clip from the 2010 Coldwater Charity Challenge, organised by freistil Surftravel and the Hamburg/Germany-located Coldwater Surfclub. Plot: Find sponsors that pay you a little amount of money for each round you paddle in the Stadtparksee (a lake at a local parc), then paddle. Over €6,000.00 were raised for children with cancer!! Congrats anf thx to all the organisers ant participants for a great event, a great benefit, and a great time in near-to-freezing-point Hamburg. Date: October 2nd, 2010.

The first of a series of pictures from last weekend.
“Nordwelle” (north wave), an artificial wave at an artificial skiing facility near Hamburg, Germany was the first stop of our post-season meeting with teamers and participants of our surfcamps in France.
At freezing temperatures, several of us enjoyed surfing far away from any swell. This was just the opener to a fun weekend, I’ll post a lot of pics and maybe a couple of video’s I shot. Have fun!

Season Closing Party
Time and place to be this weekend: Hamburg, Germany.
We’re meeting up w/ a whole lot of people who spent time in our camps this summer, first tonight at an artificial wave (I’ll post pics), then tomorrow night at a party (I’ll post pics), and on sunday, we’ll have brunch (yes, I’ll post pics).
Also happening tomorrow: Paddle for charity (http://www.coldwatercharitychallenge.de). Basically, you get yourself sponsors, who pay a certain amount per round you paddle in a sea, and the money is spent for charity. So, get to Cologne or Hamburg, get your thick wetsuit on (the long one 5mm at least), and paddle!

Surf teacher Blaffi. A german guy who grew up in Holland, and now studies in Austria. Unfortunately, I can’t find any pics of him in the water, I’ll keep on looking though.
